Custom-designed paver patios built for Houston backyards. Starting at $2,500.
B&B Turf Pros designs and installs custom paver patios for homeowners across Houston, Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Sienna, Manvel, Fresno, Iowa Colony, Richmond, and Rosharon.
We’re not a “show up and pour” contractor. Every paver patio we build starts with a free on-site design consultation. We measure, talk through how you’ll use the space, look at material samples in your actual backyard light, and propose 2 to 3 layout options before you ever see a price. Family-owned since 2015. Fully insured. Workmanship warranty on every install.
Paver Patio Pricing
Most Houston paver patio contractors won't talk price until they've been to your house. We get why, but it's frustrating if you're just trying to figure out whether a patio is even in your budget. So here's the honest answer.
Paver Patios Starting At
$2,500
Final price depends on size, materials, and features
Size Of The Patio
Most of our patios fall between 150 and 600 square feet.
Paver Material
Concrete pavers are the most affordable. Brick and natural stone cost more.
Pattern Complexity
Herringbone, basket weave, and custom curves take more labor than running bond.
Built-In Features
Fire pits, seat walls, outdoor kitchens, and pergola posts add to the project.
Drainage Work
If your yard has drainage issues, we address them as part of the project.
Demo Or Removal
Tearing out an old patio or concrete slab adds to project cost.
HOA Requirements
Some HOAs require specific materials or designs that affect cost.
How we quote: We'll walk through all of this at your free design consultation and give you one price for your full project. A 50% deposit gets you on our schedule.
Every homeowner wants something a little different. At your consultation, tell us what you’re going for, or let us recommend something based on your house, your budget, and your HOA. Here are the styles we build most often.
Classic Rectangular Patio
The most common layout we build in SW Houston. Works for dining, grilling, seating, basically anything. Fits any home style.
Curved Or Freeform Patio
Softer shape, organic feel, great for backyards with mature landscaping. Takes more labor than a straight-edge patio, so they usually run 15 to 20% more.
Multi-Level Patio
Two or more levels connected by steps or low walls. Best for sloped yards or backyards with grade changes. We build a lot of these in Sienna, Riverstone, and Sugar Lakes.
Patio With Built-In Features
Fire pits, seat walls, pergola posts, outdoor kitchens, lighting, gas lines, all of it. The smart move is to plan these in during the patio build instead of cutting into a finished patio later.
Patio + Pool Deck Combo
Tying the patio into your pool decking with matching materials. We do a lot of these in Riverstone and First Colony.
The material you pick affects how your patio looks, how it holds up to Houston weather, and how it feels under your feet in July. Here’s what we work with.
Concrete Pavers (Belgard, Pavestone, Techo-Bloc)
The most popular choice for SW Houston. Best value for what you get. Tons of color and pattern options.
Brick Pavers
Classic, traditional look. Great for older homes or higher-end builds.
Natural Stone (Flagstone, Travertine, Limestone)
Premium custom feel. Higher cost, but you can’t fake that look.
Tumbled Or Antiqued Pavers
For that older, weathered look. Good for traditional or rustic styles.
Heat-Resistant Light-Tone Pavers
If your backyard gets full sun, this matters more than you think. Dark pavers can hit 140°F+ in Houston summer. Light buff, sand, or ivory pavers stay 30 to 50°F cooler. Big difference if you’ve got kids or pets on the patio.
If you’re not sure what’s right for your house, we’ll help you figure it out at the consultation. We bring physical samples to your house so you can see the colors in your actual outdoor light.
Most homeowners getting paver patio quotes have no idea what to expect from the process. Here’s exactly how it goes with us.
Give us a call or fill out the form. Tell us where you're located and what you're thinking about doing.
We'll confirm you're in our service area and give you a rough idea of what a project like yours typically runs. That way nobody's wasting time if it's not a fit.
We come to your house, walk the backyard, take measurements, show you material samples in your actual outdoor light, and talk through layout options. We also look at drainage, HOA stuff, and anything else that might affect the project. No charge, no obligation.
After the consultation, we sit down and design your patio and price it out. One price for the whole job.
We'll check in to see if you have questions, want to tweak anything, or need help thinking through a decision. We're not going to disappear after handing you a quote, and we're not going to pressure you either.
Once you accept the quote, a 50% deposit puts you on our schedule. The other half is due when we wrap up.
We give you a firm start date and finish date. We start when we say we'll start, and we finish when we say we'll finish.
Paver Patio Sizing Guide
The number one regret we hear from homeowners six months after install: "We should have gone bigger."
A patio that feels generous on paper feels cramped once you put real furniture and people on it. Here's what we recommend based on use case.
Bistro / Coffee Area
8' × 10'
2 chairs + small table
Dining Patio
12' × 14'
4-person dining table
Grill + Dining + Seating
16' × 20'
Most popular SW Houston size
Outdoor Living Room
18' × 22'
Sofa, chairs, fire feature
Entertaining Patio
20' × 24'+
10+ guests comfortably
Honest advice from B&B Turf Pros: If your budget's tight, save up and build the size you actually want. We've never had a customer regret going bigger. We've had plenty regret going smaller.
If you're tempted to go smaller to fit your budget, expand the project timeline instead of shrinking the patio. Most of our customers regret patio size more than they regret patio cost.
Not every paver patio call we get is a new install. We also repair failed patios from other contractors and replace patios that have reached end of life.
Common paver patio repairs we handle in Houston:
Lifting and resetting pavers that have settled below grade.
Individual paver replacement when the rest of the patio is structurally sound.
Resealing joints when the original polymeric sand has failed or washed out.
Replacing failed restraints that are causing the patio to spread outward.
Adding drainage solutions when the original install didn't account for water flow.
When the original base failed and the entire patio needs to be rebuilt from the subgrade up.
Depends on the color you pick. Dark gray and charcoal pavers can hit 140°F+ in July sun. Light-tone pavers (buff, sand, ivory) stay 30 to 50°F cooler. If your patio is going to get full afternoon sun, we'll show you the heat-friendly options at your consultation.
One price for the whole project. We tell you what's included before you sign, and what we quote is what you pay.
Every patio we build is sloped away from your house (usually 1/8" per foot) and tied into your existing drainage. If your yard already has drainage issues, we'll flag them at the consultation and include any drainage work as part of the project. After Harvey, this stuff matters more than people realize.
We've handled HOA submissions all over SW Houston. We put together your ARC packet with spec sheets, photos, material samples, and dimensioned drawings. You sign it and submit it. We coordinate the install around HOA approval.
Yes. We build a lot of patios with these features. The right time to add them is during the original install, not later. You don't want to be cutting into a finished patio in two years.
Pavers don't crack like concrete because each one moves independently with the soil. Some settling can happen as the base fully sets. If anything settles outside of normal tolerance during the warranty period, we come back and fix it.
Yes. Demo and haul-away is part of your project price. We don't sub it out, our crew handles it.
Definitely. We're a full landscaping company. Sod, mulch beds, plants, drainage, and lighting can all be done as part of your patio project. Bundling everything usually saves money on coordination too.
Yes, 50% to get you on our schedule. The other 50% is due when we finish. It's how we lock in materials, scheduling, and crew availability for your project.
